Fatty Deposits

I had a client a couple days ago who had numerous (like at least a dozen) nickle-sized fatty deposits in various places around his body. i asked him about them, and he says he gets them a lot, and showed me a bunch of scars from places he's had them removed. His doctor said it was genetic. Personally, I am guessing that it has dietary connections. Does anyone know anything about this? Does anyone know where I could find out more?

Thanks so much!

Sounds like a liver problem to me. My dad had the same thing and when I got him to clean up his diet a bit they went away. The liver is the organ that processes fat, if it cannot do it's job properly a number of things can happen as the fat that it cannot process builds up in the liver and anywhere else it can be deposited.

Yes, he told me that it was that his body didn't process certain kinds of fat properly. That's what made me think that changing his diet would help. I just haven't been able to find out what type of dietary changes would work for him. Anyone know?
      Thanks

Eliminate saturated fats completely for at least two months. Eliminate all refined sugars as they play into liver function in a huge way. Supplement EFA's, amino acid complex and in particular Taurine, milk thistle, bile acid factors, pancreatic enzymes and a good fiber supplement. Have him get his cholesterol checked before durring and after, it should change a lot then ballance out. A book called The Liver Cleansing Diet has all the pertinant info.
